Let it Snow!

Okay, maybe not really let it snow. Snow is so cold. However, I did have an experience today that was a first. I shoveled snow for the first time in my life today. It was kind of fun, but I wouldn't want to do it all the time. Thanksgiving was awesome, but I'll write about that later. Right now I need to look up some pretty pictures.

Stats lessons...zzzz

I cannot stay awake during stats lessons unless I'm up and about doing something. But if I'm doing that, I'm not actually listening very hard and I have to listen to at least parts of them again anyway. Stats is awful and I'm so glad I only have to take one class of it. Besides that, this week I have two midterms which will be very hard. I just got my review sheet for my Geog 101 test and it is twice and long as the other two reviews, and there is a ton of terms and such. My Geog 260 test is tomorrow, and I'm totally not ready for it. And I really want to do well on this exam, because the only test left in this class is the final. I did okay on the last one, but I'm hoping for at least a B+ in the class. I really like the class, but there is so much that we learn and it all kind of relates to eachother, so if you can't remember one part, you can't really do much else. We'll see how I do though. The last test took me two hours, this one will probably take even longer.

In exciting news, tomorrow I get to miss half of work and go to the exciting Financial class with Holly and Caleb. Also, I'm going to a lecture about Rome, which should be cool. It won't be quite as cool as the lecture I'm missing during that same time though, which is "the simpsons and the politics of satire". I could count it as a cultural experience for my Humanities class because we've read a few satirical pieces, but oh well. Friday will be classes and studying and work. But Friday will be awesome because Rick and I are going to the football game! It will be my first BYU game and I'm totally excited! And then Next Tuesday Rick and I are winging our way south for Thanksgiving, which is also so so so exciting.

So much fun

Well, today was basically two parts: one part bad and one part really fun. The bad part was I took my humanities test today and I think it went really, really bad. I'm mad about that. On a good note though, well I guess I'll start with very early this morning when I got a phone call from Julikins. Roxy is going to be in our Aerobic Dance class. Huzzah! It will be so much fun, I can't wait! Then this morning Holly broke into my house, which gave me a heart attack. Then I got to go to class which was the best part of the day! We had our last class activity, and we had all kinds of fun things to do. It was a dance themed day. First a native american boy in our class did an amazing hoop dance. It was so cool. Then some of the folk dancers did some clogging, which was cool but not as much as usual seeing as they were dancing on carpet. Then some islanders did a freaking awesome Haka, which for those of you who don't know is a dance before a battle that is supposed to intimidate your opponents. It was pretty scary, and totally awesome! Then more folk dancing, then some line dancing. We learned a cool line dance, and then we got to learn the Haka! It was so much fun, but I don't think I look very scary doing it, and I can't pronounce all the words. Now I'm at work and I should be studying for my stats test.
